Sentius and ebrary Announce Partnership
Dynamic Contextual Linking Technology Integrated into PDF Documents for the First Time.

Palo Alto, California, June 10, 2003 – Sentius Corporation, the creator of the industry leading enterprise class Dynamic Contextual Linking platform, and ebrary, a leading provider of information distribution and retrieval services, today announced a strategic partnership to bring Dynamic Contextual Linking to PDF documents.

The Sentius software platform, RichLink, automates and centralizes the management of links at the word, phrase, and metadata level. RichLink is Dynamic Contextual Linking (DCL) technology that enables intelligent delivery of relevant content and functions to users within the context of their active workspace. RichLink maps the content you already have; tags that content automatically; and serves content that lets users find the information they need without leaving the page.

ebrary has developed an innovative solution that “web-enables” PDF documents. ebrary InfoTools™, the company’s sophisticated research technology which provides word-level interaction, can now integrate with Sentius RichLink to create contextual links from PDF files. This complementary technology allows companies to empower information from within both PDF documents and HTML.
