Thank you for your interest in ebrary's MARC records. We can provide you with 10 sample records to test in your integrated library system. Please click the link below to download the zipped file of sample MARC records.

Some things to look for:

Are all the MARC tags loading? In particular, look to see that the 006 and 856 are present.
Are all the access points (1xx, 7xx, 6xx and 245) and call numbers (050) indexing according your system's parameters? Is the 856 displaying properly in your Web OPAC?
If you haven't turned off overlay of bibliographic records, has the ebrary MARC record overlaid existing bibliographic records?

Please note:

The URL in the MARC records (field 856) will lead you to the ebrarian® for Libraries trial site, which requires a password. If you have not signed up for the Trial, please do so first at www.ebrary.com/register/trial.
You should turn off any bibliographic record overlay parameters before loading ebrary MARC records into your system. ebrary MARC records contain a Control Number (MARC tag 001)~~ please verify that this will not overlay records in your system.
These records have been randomly chosen simply to test loading ebrary MARC records into your individual system.
Remember to delete these records from your catalog after testing is complete.
